Reflexology
Reflexology is based on the premise that there are nerve reflexes in the feet that correspond with every part, gland and organ of the body. Through systematic pressure and stimulation of these reflexes, the body is assisted to return to natural functioning. In the process, endorphins (natural pain-killers) are released, parasympathetic relaxation of the nervous system takes place, increased blood and lymphatic circulation results in increases in oxygen and immune levels, all of which helps to restore balance to the body. Reflexology primarily eases tension, and helps to reduce stress. It is a wonderful way to feel better and gain a sense of well-being.
Reflexology is not a substitute for necessary medical treatment. Reflexology is a holistic modality often working together with other medical and complementary therapies to achieve the best results for the client.

Thai Foot Reflexology
Thai Foot Reflexology is a delightful treatment for the lower legs and feet that originated in Thailand about 2000 years ago. Utilizing stretching, massage, thumb-walking and the use of a specially-tooled wooden stick to stimulate the reflex points, Thai Foot Reflexology seeks to restore balance to the body/mind through the reflexes of the feet and lower legs that are linked to the body’s 72,000 energy meridians (sen). It is an enjoyable holistic treatment that restores balance to the mind and body at the same time that it stimulates the internal organs.
